Halloween came and went this year and it seems the more years go by, the less it is the way you remembered when you were young. I got home from work maybe around 6:30p. That is plenty dark here around this time of year. But there didn't seem to be that many kids. My wife told me that many had already been there and that it seemed to be winding down. What? At 6:30? Perhaps it was because it was on a Monday. I remember when I was younger, I used to hate it when the day after Halloween night was a school day. Priorities man. C'mon.

Went to Willow Springs Raceway today to watch the Toyota 200. A buddy of mine, and amateur racer had qualified for the race and took his best shot at the $50,000 grand prize. Did he win? No. Top 10? Not quite. Top 20? Almost. Actually, he came in 21st, and out of 41 riders at this level of competition, I'd say that's not too shabby. In fact... it's fantastic! Many congratulations to Marcel Graeber for a race well done! Click the album below for some pics.
Also, many thanks to APE Raceparts.com for hosting a very nice write-up of Marcel's experience at the Toyota 200.
