Are you ready for a Gran Turismo type game for motorcycles? Well, Polyphony Digital Inc, internal developer for SCEI (Sony Computer Entertainment Inc), and the makers of the Gran Turismo franchise, is. Announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2005 and called Tourist Trophy, this game features a number of licensed bikes, suits, and helmets and is expected to be the Gran Turismo of motorcyles.

While we're not sure how many bikes will feature in the game, Famitsu provides a partial list. Here's some of what you can expect to ride in Polyphony's first motorbike game:

  • Honda CBR600RR
  • Honda NSR250R SE
  • Honda CB750F
  • Honda CBR1100XX
  • Yamaha YZF R1
  • Yamaha MT 01
  • Yamaha TZR 250 SPR
  • Yamaha Grand Majesty 250
  • Kawasaki ZRX1200R
  • Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R
  • Suzuki GSX1400
  • Suzuki Hayabusa
  • Suzuki GSX-R600

The final selection will include a small number of motorcycles from the 80s, although 70% will be from the 90s to the present. Although the above makers are all Japanese, the final game will feature European bikes as well.

Geez, CJ, put that thing away
before you hurt somebody!

The re-release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is due next Tuesday, according to the Web sites of gaming retailers. GameStop lists the title as being available September 13, roughly two months after it stopped selling GTA due to the "Hot Coffee" modification, which allows the game's main character to engage in sex acts.

Every major retailer has pulled the game from their shelves, and Take2 Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, vowed at the time to have a new version of GTA: San Andreas available minus the "Hot Coffee" scenes within "six to eight weeks."

Also released is a PC patch called "No More Hot Coffee", available at both the Take2 Intractive and Rockstar Games websites.

In other related news, hackers have come up with the shocking "Hot Biscuit" Mod that allows the player to control the cute and lovable virtual pets of Nintendo DS's Nintendogs to have hot and steamy, doggy-style, sex!

Note: This Nintendo thing is a hoax. A joke. You know... like Bonzai Kitten. Originally posted at 4 Color Rebellion.
